Description

Ackermann Group is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team! The Business Analyst is responsible for providing data analysis and reporting in support of the Operations, Accounting, and Executive teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience working with databases and large datasets, and the ability to communicate findings in a proactive, professional manner.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Identify key business levers, establish cause & effect, and perform analyses to facilitate data driven decision-making
  • Executes analysis of Company and property performance metrics using existing and to-be-developed reporting tools 
  • Possesses advanced skills using Excel, BI tools, and database sources to extract, aggregate, and analyze data
  • Identifies key metrics and build reporting tools to track the progress of the business and its initiatives
  • Provide advance reporting and participates in financial and operational review meetings
  • Collaborate effectively across multiple teams within the organization to understand and support their analytics needs
  • Ability to organize and communicate findings in a professional and effective manner, both orally and written
Requirements

 JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with business or data analytics concentration
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in a business analyst role
  • Previous experience in commercial real estate or property management is highly desired
  • Experience working in databases, business intelligence systems and MS Office products (Yardi experience is a plus) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Currently located in the greater Cincinnati, Ohio area
