Specifications Specialist

Mackin Educational Resources is a well-established, highly respected company in the South Metro that is looking for a qualified specialist for our Specifications department.


  • Compile and categorize library and curriculum specifications with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Interpret specifications and formulate questions as needed to complete customer’s order.
  • Use in-house software systems to enter data, organize information, and set up specifications.
  • Able to learn new or modified procedures on a regular basis.
  • Frequently email and communicate with other internal departments.
  • Provide concise written directions for printing technicians and book processors.
  • Willingness to perform other duties within the Specifications or other departments.
  • Excellent attention to detail with proficient organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, make decisions, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities, verbal and written.
  • Efficiently document and record information.
  • Working knowledge of PC computers.
  • Basic understanding of library practices helpful. 

Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary education helpful
  • 1+ years’ experience in an office setting


  • Full-time, Days, Monday - Friday, Flex Onsite and Remote


  • Negotiable, depending on education and experience
