The role is considered full time and can be performed fully remote from any U.S location or onsite in Lombard, IL.


Responsibilities:


Oversee Sales Commissions

  • Compare revenue / cost to expected
  • Calculate amount due 
  • Reconcile accrued commission accounts

Process Sales Orders

  • Review internal sales documents
  • Prepare purchase orders
  • Place orders with suppliers
  • Ensure cost reconciles to internal quote
  • Prepare invoices to customers

Track Cloud Account Information

  • Monthly and ytd A/R monitoring
  • Maintain electronic records of A/P and A/R invoices
  • Identification / reconciliation of discrepancies
  • Launching of inquiries with providers
  • Track SPIFF amounts due
  • Maintain appropriate replacement equipment inventory

Track Premise Support Agreements

  • Interact with Account Managers to ensure support agreements are quoted and invoiced to customers in a timely manner
  • Ensure all account information and contract dates are up to date in CRM
  • Create journal entries in QB to defer / accrue revenue and defer / accrue cost
  • Create tasks in CRM to track future sales commissions payable
  • Reconcile information in CRM batches for posting to QuickBooks

Assist as Needed with Other Support Activities

  • Sending out marketing emails to customers
  • Providing remote end user training
  • Provide back-up support of phones and support queue when Admin Assistant is away
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of accounting principals 
  • Good understanding of debits / credits and how they relate to varying types of accounts
  • Journal entries
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Critical / analytical thinker
  • Willingness to be a utility player
