This position will be focused on developing long-term relationships with distributors, national accounts and retailers along with building an internal sales team for the direct distribution of Saint Arnold brands.
Key responsibilities:
- Achieve volume and distribution targets in defined territory and target accounts.
- Complete regular sales calls and business reviews with distributor partners and key retailers.
- Establish and execute a local retailer call frequency in key on-premise and off-premise accounts.
- Utilize sales tools (VIP) to analyze, develop and implement strategic sales plans.
- Perform administrative duties in a timely manner (sales reporting, expense, budget & mileage reporting)
- Hire, support, train and develop local sales team
- Monitoring of distributor inventories, orders and execution in assigned markets
- Frequent travel; occasional flights
- Complete annual performance reviews for team members.
Requirements
- Knowledge of wholesaler/distributor management and the three-tier system.
- Previous leadership management experience building, mentoring and leading high-performance sales teams and sales networks.
- Results-driven, energetic, outgoing, team player
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in craft beer sales is desirable Active participation in the annual business planning process for distributors and retail partners.
- Candidate must have proven computer skills and be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and Apple applications.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
- Exemplary interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.
- Travel and Flexible work schedule is required.
- Valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment period.
