IT - Support Intern

Leading generic pharmaceutical distributor with advanced information   technologies seeks a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology,   collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to important projects and will be given   hands-on opportunities to work closely with seasoned IT professionals and   senior IT leadership.

· Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems

· Assist with   troubleshooting issues and provide technical support

· Organize and maintain IT resources

· Lend IT support in areas such as 

o IT service management 

o Cybersecurity 

o Data center management 

o Office365 administration



· College education or certifications in IT or related area

· Understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking basics

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Demonstrated ability to resolve mechanical/technical problems with emphasis on troubleshooting 

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Engage in continuous research and learning 

· Desire and aptitude to learn quickly and grow professionally

· Work well independently and within a team 

· Be able to work well with deadline pressure

· Strong work ethic and attention to detail 


· Gain hands-on experience in an IT position

· Shadowing and training experiences with knowledgeable professionals
