About the position:

The Junior Systems Administrator position requires someone who is a self-starter with the ability to apply their technical knowledge to troubleshoot, resolve, and provide recommendations to best support clients. The primary focus of this position is to provide industry leading support for our clients with a high level of customer service. Professionalism and a strong ability to communicate with the client is a must. We are looking for a person with a great attitude, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate would possess hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Servers, Citrix, VMware and backup technology stacks with experience troubleshooting, administrating, and supporting these environments.


• Minimum of 3+ years of Professional IT experience

• Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience is a plus

• Experience managing Active Directory and GPO’s.

• Experience programming in a scripting language such as PowerShell.

• Microsoft technologies - including Windows (desktop and server), AD, DNS, etc.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms such as Azure.

• Proficiency with Citrix.

• Proficiency with VMware.

Knowledge of Enterprise Backup solutions 


· Work closely with Senior Systems Administrators to effectively manage Microsoft Servers, VMware, Citrix and Veeam.

· Assist supporting Citrix environments including Hypervisor, ADC, Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Workspace client applications

· Assist with Active Directory, Windows Servers, Exchange Online, and VMware administration.

· Interact with team members and vendors to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.

· Perform routine and scheduled audits of systems.

· Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.

· Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

· Diagnoses and resolves complex software, server issues

· Active Directory Services provisioning and management.

· Other duties as assigned.

Technical Requirements:

• Citrix – Configuration, Support and Management

• Experience supporting core Microsoft technologies, including: Windows Desktop and Server, O365 and Active directory

• Experience supporting, and maintaining, VMWare technologies

• Ability to perform duties remotely and self-manage priorities

• Preferred skills (optional)

• Experience with configuration of monitoring solution thresholds and alerts

• Experience with software patching and update solutions

• Citrix Experience

• VMware Experience 

• Veeam experience is a plus

• ITIL v4 certification is a plus

• Ability to work onsite at Entisys360 offices for a full 8-hour workday

• Ability to travel via airplane for periods of 1 hour or longer to attend work-related activities

• Ability to lodge overnight away from home for multiple days to attend work-related activities
