  • Regularly travel to markets to become an expert on competitive set, market dynamics, and market participants, and to understand and proactively manage operational concerns at the assets. Portfolio includes markets throughout the Intermountain West. Expect approximately 35-45% travel. In coordination with the internal Capital Projects Manager, proactively lead capital improvement projects to achieve project execution while meeting budget and controlling cost.
  • In coordination with the onsite property management teams and in-house Capital Projects Manager, complete the annual budgeting process, as well as the long-term capital needs assessments of the assets.
  • Oversee cash management and cash planning for improvements and distributions.
  • Complete monthly and quarterly reporting to investors.
  • In conjunction with the finance team, make recommendations for and coordinate information requests related to refinances or supplemental financings.
  • Monitor market and asset fundamentals in order to provide hold/sell recommendations.
  • Communicate and follow up on priorities and expectations with cross-functional teams.
