Digital Copywriter
Description

We are seeking a Digital Copywriter to join our dynamic Marketing team. This role will report directly to our Chief Marketing Officer. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and interest or curiosity in architecture, design, or the arts. Interested applicants must have previous experience in storytelling across a variety of platforms and demonstrate the ability to analyze data to optimize content and grow our audience. 


Core Responsibilities  

  • Communicate as a storyteller to create captivating copy that shares the ideas behind projects in an articulate and professional manner  
  • Lead copy ideation and campaign plans in collaboration with Marketing, PR, and Video teams to ensure brand consistency and voice across social media channels and award submissions  
  • Ability to work with teams to educate, as well as establish rapport and communications pathways for sharing of project information, assets, descriptions, and shape content based on the brand voice  
  • Go in depth to share the insights about the brand from the originality of the projects to the skills of the people, to the depth of the initiatives to paint a full picture of the culture and the brand aspirations 
  • Develop and lead a thoughtful content creation management strategy across RIOS-owned social media channels, providing engaging architecturally driven text, image, and video across Instagram (@rios.imagines, @RiosHome, and @rios.plus), LinkedIn, YouTube, and WeChat. 
  • Act as a channel owner, establishing best practices and overseeing responses and engagement to comments and queries in a timely manner to set the tone for RIOS; coordinate with stakeholders and internal contacts to guide responses as necessary 
  • Setting, monitoring, and providing monthly and quarterly reporting on analytics using KPIs to inform and optimize our engagement and growth strategies in alignment with our firm strategy 
  • Social listening to stay abreast of timely conversations, events, and brand activations in efforts to build community and boost brand awareness  
  • Stay up to date with cultural moments, social platform updates, digital and competitor + industry activity, and culturally significant holidays and occasions and proactively share relevant updates with the Marketing team 
  • Assess RIOS’ digital footprint to ensure that the latest projects are posted on key third party websites  
  • Ability to work in a growing team with a can-do attitude and willingness to be nimble and participatory in supporting the firm’s Strategic Plan goals 
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of work experience copywriting in a community manager or social media manager role 
  • Excellent verbal communication, organization, and error-free writing skills (experience in architecture, design, or arts writing preferred)  
  • Experience developing and launching creative community initiatives (e.g., ambassador program, event series) 
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask 
  • Knowledge of social media management tools like Later; Ability to interpret website traffic and online engagement metrics 
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing of search engine optimization (SEO) and web metrics (Google Analytics) 
  • BS degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related field 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other digital design tools with the ability to optimize content specific to channel best practices
