The Systems Administrator II position requires someone who is a self-starter with the ability to apply their technical knowledge to troubleshoot, resolve, and provide recommendations to best support clients. The primary focus of this position is to provide industry leading support for our clients with a high level of customer service. Professionalism and a strong ability to communicate with the client is a must. We are looking for a person with a great attitude, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate would possess hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Server Services, Azure, Exchange, O365, VMware, Cisco’s Security Suit and backup technology stacks with experience troubleshooting, administrating, and supporting these environments.


• Minimum of 5+ years of Professional IT experience.

• Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience is a plus.

• Experience programming in a scripting language such as PowerShell.

• Experience managing Microsoft technologies (Servers, Server Services, Cloud)

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms such as Azure.

• Knowledge and experience with SSO.

• Proficiency with VMware.

• Knowledge, and experience of Enterprise Backup solutions.


· Effectively manage, maintain, and support:

o Microsoft Servers Operating Systems, including but not limited to; monitoring and patching

o Microsoft Server Services, including but not limited to; DNS, DHCP, Active Directory

o O365 online, including but not limited to; SharePoint, Azure AD, AD Connect, Exchange

o Cisco Security Suit; Cisco Email Security, Cisco Umbrella and Secure Endpoint (AMP)

o VMware vSphere; vCenter and ESXi

o Exchange (on premise)

o Enterprise backup solutions

· Interact with team members and vendors to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.

· Perform routine and scheduled audits of systems.

· Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.

· Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

· Diagnoses and resolve complex software, server issues.

· Other duties as assigned.

Technical Requirements:

• Ability to perform duties remotely and self-manage priorities

• Experience with configuration of monitoring solution thresholds and alerts

• Experience with software patching and update solutions

• VMware Certification is plus

• Veeam experience is a plus

• ITIL v4 certification is a plus

• Ability to work onsite at Entisys360 offices for a full 8-hour workday

• Ability to travel via airplane for periods of 1 hour or longer to attend work-related activities

• Ability to lodge overnight away from home for multiple days to attend work-related activities
