Description
NRF is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the human resources team by performing high-level, confidential, and complex administrative tasks. The candidate will also serve as an administrative resource for the Accounting and IT departments. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player, curious problem-solver, and exceptionally organized go-getter. Essential functions include:
- Providing confidential administrative and special project support
- Maintaining electronic and all other personnel documents
- Supporting talent acquisition efforts, including scheduling interviews, coordinating prescreen, reference, and background checks
- Providing front desk coverage and administrative and special project support for IT and Accounting
- Supporting new hire onboarding process; prepare, deliver and collect new hire materials, coordinate new hire orientation schedule and track initial onboarding requirements
- Providing excellent service to all NRF employees and serve as a trusted resource to the team
- Maintaining HR system, including data entry, generating reports, conducting periodic auditing, and supporting the implementation of system enhancements
- Coordinating schedules and logistics for meetings, trainings, and education sessions
- Maintaining knowledge of HR policies and practices
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma with at two years of administrative support experience (up to one-year human resources experience desired
- Ability to consistently demonstrate high integrity of discretion and confidentiality when engaging in any matter across the organization
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (experience with an HRIS preferred)
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with employees at all levels
- Exceptional team player with a strong commitment to customer support excellence
- Ability to organize and effectively handle multiple and varied assignments
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, quality, and value
- Ability to travel to support events as needed (up to 5%)
