Job Summary 

 

The Regional Partner has a unique opportunity to be a part of the successful growth of multi-family developments into new markets for a 32-year-old development company with an outstanding track record. This person will be the face of the company in a new market. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a successful history of leading teams and sourcing, developing, and managing new projects.?An industry veteran that has strong community relationships and can navigate complex entitlements. This person will have strong financial skills and the ability to work through complex transactions with internal investment team. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills are a must.    


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities, negotiate sale and purchase agreements?  
  • Lead the vision for new communities in your market  
  • Oversee the design process, building plans, and scope of work to ensure projects are completed with the highest level of quality, on time, and within budget.?  
  • Direct the due diligence process for potential opportunities and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders on key findings  
  • Collaborate with the investment team to prepare detailed Pro-forma, financial models, and budgets?  
  • Ensure portfolio performs at highest levels.?  
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the development, construction, and design teams  
  • Develop innovative approaches and solutions to accomplish goals?  
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's in business or other Real Estate related master's strongly preferred.  
  • 15+ years of real estate development experience  
  • Successful completion of 5-plus multifamily development projects  
  • Experience developing other asset classes, specifically office and retail a plus  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of market and competition  
  • Proven success in multifamily land acquisition, development, and planning?  
  • Highly motivated and organized with exceptional budget planning, analytical skills, and the ability to understand complex financial analysis, P&L  
  • Experience leading large, multifaceted teams, stakeholder relations, and leadership skills  
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and time management skills
