Welch Fluorocarbon, Inc. is currently looking to fill the role of Manufacturing Group Lead as part of our Manufacturing Team.

Essential Tasks:

  • Assembles and monitors team business data
  • Gathers information and produces reports on Team performance
  • Corrects and enters production data
  • Completes documents to meet Manufacturing business agenda
  • To provide a path for decision-making
  • To provide a path for problem solving
  • Maintain Training records for the Manufacturing Team
  • Approve invoices for shipping accounts
  • Perform order acknowledgements
  • Attend meetings as necessary and report back to the Manufacturing Team Leader
  • Work closely with other teams on improvements 
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as may be assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Assign tasks to Team Members via scheduling
  • Provide training, Monitor Team Member productivity, provide constructive feedback when required; set goals and objectives
  • Evaluate and report team and team member’s performance directly reported to the Manufacturing Team Leader or designee
  • Approve and report payroll for assigned Manufacturing Team Members
  • Participate in candidate interviews for the Manufacturing Team
  • Perform Manufacturing New Team Member onboarding
  • Assist in writing, maintaining, and training Manufacturing Team policies and procedures
  • Conduct annual performance reviews
  • Participate in performance correction meetings for all assigned Team Members

  • 1 to 3 years of strong organizational and leadership skills
  • High School Diploma; additional degree in Business or other relevant area will be a bonus
  • Profound experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
  • Good practical experience with MS Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and an efficient problem solver

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to use hands to handle or feel
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes
