Arapahoe Basin is hiring for our 2023 Summer Season.  Summer dates of employment typically fall between June 20th-September 30th. This is subject to change based on the need. • Previous Food and Beverage experience preferred not required with most positions.

We are located at 10,820 ft in elevation which makes us one of the highest Ski Areas in the country. We have several operations for food and beverage at the Ski Area…2 Ski Cafes, Food Truck, Table Service Restaurant, and an Italian style bistro. We are looking for F&B folks that have experience with high volume restaurants and cafeterias. Food quality and guest experience are the most important. Skills Required:

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Maintain consistency and quality of similar tasks throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times.
  • Ability to work efficiently without supervision when necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Use full range of body motion: bend, twist, kneel, push, pull and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Stand and walk for 8 hours.
  • Able to walk up and down stairs throughout shift.
  • Withstand high altitude conditions at all times.

Other Requirements:

  • Must provide own, approved, non-slip footwear.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays.

Work Environment:

  • You will work almost 100% of the time in a kitchen in a high-altitude environment. Some outside work in a cold and snowy environment is possible on any given day. Most work is performed in a highly trafficked area while working closely with other kitchen employees. Riding a chairlift may be required for certain work locations. Use of utensils such as knives, cooking devices such as fryers or cleaning tools such as mops, is frequent.
