The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas is seeking to fill a full-time position of Administrative Assistant that serves the Office of Marriage and Family Life and the Office of Children’s Catechesis. This position will be based upon a work week of 40 hours per week, and is located at the Chancery office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day office duties.
  • Assist with event planning and preparation.
  • Create and maintain databases.
  • Create flyers and promotional materials using software platforms.
  • Basic editing of the website and social media.
  • Manage paper and electronic files.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Knowledge of WordPress preferred but not necessary.
  • Minimum of two years’ prior experience working in a professional office environment, in a similar role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
