Description
The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas is seeking to fill a full-time position of Administrative Assistant that serves the Office of Marriage and Family Life and the Office of Children’s Catechesis. This position will be based upon a work week of 40 hours per week, and is located at the Chancery office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day office duties.
- Assist with event planning and preparation.
- Create and maintain databases.
- Create flyers and promotional materials using software platforms.
- Basic editing of the website and social media.
- Manage paper and electronic files.
Requirements
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of WordPress preferred but not necessary.
- Minimum of two years’ prior experience working in a professional office environment, in a similar role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
