Description

Objectives of this Role 

  • Assist customers with inquiries for replacement parts, warranty parts and RSP (Recommended Spare Parts) in support of new machine sales, and existing ESS machines in the field. Ensure total Customer satisfaction by delivering timely quotations and on time delivery for all parts orders.
  • Deepen the understanding of products, customers, goals, organization, and business strategies, evaluating systems and processes, and identifying improvement needs..


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary contact for customers ordering warranty parts, replacement parts and RSP (Recommended Spare Parts) in support of new machine sales. Respond to inquiries from Customers, Regional Sales Managers, 3rd party Reps and Distributors via telephone, e-mail, and fax. 
  • Provide customers with price quotations. Order Entry as needed (Profit Key). Work with Purchasing to expedite material as needed. 
  • Enter billing/invoicing information into the system to facilitate proper invoicing of orders. 
  • Follow orders to ensure on-time shipment, coordinate with Service on parts activity generated through the Service Department inclusive of warranty and billable orders. 
  • Coordinate with Sales and Engineering on parts sales generated in association with new equipment sales and existing ESS machines in the field.
  • Build professional skills through continued training, education, and networking events.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.


Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3+ years of customer service experience in a design-build manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications required.
  • Proficiency using PK preferred.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD helpful.


Physical/Mental Standards

  • Ability to operate computer.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient for constant use of a keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Speech and hearing sufficient for regular communications. Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor and transaction documents.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to perform climbing, stooping, crouching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
  • Executing up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and or 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Close mental and visual requirements needed to perform work dealing primarily with sales, manufacturing, engineering, and management. 
  • Ability to plan, schedule, train, check and evaluate work.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
