Sales Enablement Specialist - National Accounts

Summary:  This position is responsible for supporting and enabling sales activities for the National Account Reps. This includes helping National Accounts team as they progress potential customers through all stages of our business development and sales processes, as well as acting as a liaison between National Accounts and other internal departments to facilitate a unified on-boarding and ordering experience for clients.

Essential Functions Statement(s) 

  • Act as a liaison for National Accounts to all departments.
  • Create written content to educate sales team and advance deals such as case studies, competitive information fact sheets, product collateral, and custom work. 
  • Participate in business development efforts including, but not limited to:                                                                                                  § Research qualifications of potential customer targets.                                                                                                                                 §  Coordinating and participating in business exhibitions and other promotional activities 
  • Utilize the company’s CRM/ EOM daily to keep information up to date on leads, prospects, opportunities and customers 
  • Access the company ERP to key customer orders and to preform necessary queries to pull needed reports.
  • Train sales team on best use of marketing and sales enablement materials.
  • Assist on sales calls and demonstrations as needed. 
  • Cultivate the sales enablement data repository and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at point of need and document National Accounts’ processes and procedures.
  • Conduct and report on market research.
  • Coordinate special orders for the National Accounts team members 
  • Reporting and analysis tasks to include, but not limited to:
  • § Bi-Monthly customer progress reporting for all National Accounts
  • § Key account buying pattern analysis and reports
  • § National Accounts tier pricing reporting and analysis
  • § New business reporting and short-shipped order tracking
  • Gather feedback from National Accounts sales team on a regular basis to constantly improve enablement programs.
  • Periodically coordinate with sales leadership, National Accounts sales and executive management to define and prioritize sales enablement initiatives.

Skills   and Abilities: 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in business and/or marketing majors preferred; or equivalent work 

Experience:   Significant experience in sales or sales support role.

Computer Skills:  Proficient in the use of   Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
