Compensation: $65,000-80,000 annually

Location/Travel: San Antonio - Corporate


Job Summary:


Circle of Care and Empower Behavioral Health are working together to provide quality care across a range of services. CofC provides in-home pediatric occupational, physical, and speech therapy services in Texas. EBH was created with the mission of empowering families by providing the most effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, to ensure that learners with autism and other developmental disabilities reach their maximum potential. Together, these organizations have set out to provide the best care across pediatric occupational, physical, speech therapy, and ABA services.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Take a leading role in the preparation of financial statements, to include preparation of monthly balance sheet and income statements.
  • Handle day-to-day financial reporting and month-end close processes
  • Maintain general ledger, to include the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly, balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, and setting up new accounts
  • Assist with annual financial statement audit
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, monthly and/or quarterly account reconciliations, and quarterly reports for assigned areas
  • Maintain supporting documentation for financial reporting
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as needed

Education and Experience:


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central


 Preferred:
 

  • CPA license preferred 
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills
  • Ability to train and manage staff
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Experience working in a growing organization
