The Successful Candidate Will Have

· No less than 1 year experience unless working as part of a splicing team with someone who is.

· Familiar with all types of fiber prep and able to properly set up any type of splice case required including Coyote, Comscope, or Corning.

· Ability to splice both loose tube and ribbon fibers proficiently, but equally be able to take instruction from time to time as newer methods are presented

· Ability to work both aerial and underground situations either as a single person or as a part of a team when required.

· Ability to move quickly from one splice location to another multiple times a day to increase efficiency.

· Familiar with multiple types of testing or be highly trainable.

· Ability to gather close out information along with splicing activities, and report daily on progress.

· Ability to work with Excel, Word, Quick base, and good computer skills are a very big plus.

· NO DUI’s in the past 7 years in order to drive company equipment

· Splicing and testing of all assigned work.

· Creation of documentation of splicing and testing of all assigned work.

· Taking pictures of all work done daily.

· Maintenance of all assigned company equipment.

· Maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and the public.

Hiring Process

We are looking to fill this role as soon as we find the candidate who meets or exceeds our expectations. Interviews will be conducted virtually, with the potential of in-person interviews for local candidates, and will include a meeting with the CFO, pre-employment cognitive and personality assessments, a background screening, and drug test.
