Delta Dental of Iowa invites applications for Small Business Account Executive to be responsible for the sales, growth, and retention of small employer (under 50 employees) and individual dental, vision, and legal insurance through face to face, as well as inbound and outbound calls. You will facilitate lead generation, sales, support and build relationships with key industries, brokers, associations, and businesses.

Essential Functions and Principal Accountabilities:
- Quote and sell small business and individual dental, vision, and legal insurance through face to face, outbound, and inbound sales channels, using a consultative sales approach.
- Meet and exceed sales goals.
- Support channel partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, such as marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training to achieve revenue targets.
- Report on key performance indicators.
- Facilitate cross-sell opportunities through outbound calls.
- Successfully manage relationships with brokers, agencies, and other sales channels.
- Provide support to small business sales and service team.
- Share individual and small business insights with internal operating areas and key teams.
- Foster an external image that is consistent with corporate values and objectives.
- Facilitate lead generation, sales, support and foster relationships with key industries, brokers, associations, and businesses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 4+ years related sales experience required, preferably in an outside sales environment.
- Proven consultative sales skills and ability to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. CRM experience preferred.
- Iowa Health license required or must be attained within 60 days of hire.
- Valid driver’s license required.
