Director of National Sales - TPG

TPG is currently looking for an experienced revenue-generating and innovative individual to join the National Sales team.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and grow sales for new business sales having an effective new business sales pipeline and sales management plan
  • Build creative sales solutions for potential National Brand that add value and exceed the needs of all parties using traditional partnership assets, streaming media assets, digital and social assets and marketing channels to meet client’s objectives
  • Negotiate and close National Partnerships delivering against company goals
  • Develop a strong understanding of key differentiators in the changing market landscape of high school sponsorship sales to create a unique product mix for clients
  • Collaborate with vendors, sponsors, partnership staff, and appropriate personnel to ensure implementation and execution of sponsorships and contract fulfillment
  • Participate in game day events to share and highlight the high school sports and extracurricular activities experience with existing and potential sponsors
  • Represent yourself in way that demonstrates a strong commitment to team collaboration and TPG corporate culture
Requirements
  • Passion for high school athletics and activities
  • Experienced, high-level sales leader with a strong track record of revenue growth at a national level
  • Familiarity with National market landscape (client and agency)
  • Experience in developing, promoting, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners
  • Advanced negotiating skills, ability to identify and influence key decision makers
  • History of success selling and building relationships with national brands
  • Effective communication, organizational, presentation, and listening skills
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans in order to meet both short- and long-term business objectives
  • Minimum five (5) years of applicable experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
