This sales support position will assist treasury management officers with sales, portfolio accounts and customer service support.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assists with the sales process including reviewing client relationships for cross-sell opportunities, reviewing public information for new opportunities, performing basic market research, and assisting with the pre-call planning process for both prospects and existing clients.
  • Facilitates all aspects of the account opening process for new business accounts generated by treasury management and/or commercial loan officers or for walk-in prospects. 
  • Serves as a liaison between treasury management customers and operations to resolve all customer service issues. Responds to calls and inquiries from current treasury management customers.
  • Assists business customers experiencing fraud. 
  • Prepares and submits documents for implementation of treasury management products and services.
  • Participates in Community and Networking events. 
  • Occasionally travels to client meetings and to the other offices in Glenview and Wheeling, IL, when needed. 
  • Must be able to travel for training purposes during the first 1-2 weeks to each of the other branches in Glenview and Wheeling.


Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a bank required.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to participate in community and networking events.
  • Experience working with a bank’s core operating systems and related platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
