The Product Manager is a key player in the development and success of our loan participation marketplace. You will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision and strategy, as well as ensuring that the product meets the needs of our customers. Your primary responsibilities include solving for product-market fit and delivering a technology-enabled roadmap that expands our business’ capabilities and improves customer experience. At LendKey, this means developing new features, and improving existing ones, that meet real customer needs – including external financial intuition clients and internal stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for product development and an understanding of the loan and finance industry. You will provide and drive the long-term strategy, product vision, and be the voice of the customer. 

Requirements

As a Product Manager, you will: 

  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring that the product vision aligns with the company’s overall strategy. You will do this by collaborating cross-functionally (with sales, account management, marketing, operations, and external customers & partners) to manage the roadmap, prioritize strategic initiatives, and drive consensus amongst stakeholders. 
  • Leverage deep loan & finance industry expertise to inform product decisions. 
  • Gain subject matter expertise on loan participations, marketplaces, & investor servicing. 
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure that the product remains competitive. 
  • Conduct user research by employing a mix of attitudinal and behavioral methods to gain key insights to deliver customer-aligned product features and capabilities. 
  • Collaborate with sales and account management to constantly improve our pitch and demos to potential customers to increase opportunities and partnerships. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, data, and your stakeholders to ensure product delivery is on time and to specifications. 
  • Create visual representations of ideas and design to effectively communicate product concepts to cross-functional teams. 
  • Visualize current and future solutions through process & story mapping. 
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous product improvement by defining & measuring KPIs, monitoring system health, tracking product performance, & observing user behavior. 
  • Elevate the team and the product by adopting an outcome-oriented approach & setting product OKRs that connect product strategy and product delivery. 
  • Breakdown strategic initiatives into manageable bodies of work, set delivery dates to drive results, prioritize capabilities & features, and define product requirements to ensure that the product delivers value to customers. 
  • Lead wireframing, prototyping, and UX design efforts to ensure that the product is user-friendly and meets customer needs. 
  • Ensure that the product is accessible, inclusive, and meets compliance standards. 
  • Lead and participate in day-to-day agile ceremonies and activities. 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., business, finance, design, computer science) or relevant experience required. Master’s degree is a plus. 
  • 3+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful products. 
  • Some experience and understanding of the loan and finance industry. 
  • Experience in presenting and managing a product roadmap, as well as leading strategic discussions and initiatives. 
  • Proven ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong technical skills that facilitate working closely with engineers & quality assurance. 
  • Proficiency in process mapping & creating visual representations of ideas and designs. 
  • Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, InVision). 
  • Experience with one or more data and business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Google Optimize, Google Analytics). 
  • Experience with Design Thinking is a plus.
