The Senior Analyst plays an integral part in LendKey’s efforts to provide exceptional technology. This role serves as the eyes and ears of our technology organization including product, product operations and engineering and will help drive improvements that impact our customers and our technology teams. To succeed in this role, you must leverage quantitative and qualitative information to analyze and identify opportunities to improve all areas of our platforms. This role requires high-level communications skills, a keen sense of urgency, and focus on how their analyses will impact the business. 

Requirements

As a Senior Analyst, you will: 

  • Drive requirements for the loan participation platform to: 
  • execute the sale & servicing of loan participations 
  • analyze & provide insights for partner loan portfolios 
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the team’s product(s) & deliverables 
  • Leverage loan & finance industry expertise to inform product decisions 
  • Leverage knowledge of ACH and modern payment technologies 
  • Leverage expertise in interest & fee calculations and accruals 
  • Leverage expertise in loan participations, marketplaces, & investor servicing 
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends 
  • Conduct user research by employing a mix of attitudinal and behavioral methods to gain key insights to deliver customer-aligned product features and capabilities 
  • Create visual representations of ideas and design to effectively communicate product concepts to cross-functional teams that aligns with OKRs & KPIs 
  • Ensure that the product is accessible, inclusive, & meets compliance standards 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal & external partners to align with business strategy and deliver business value 
  • Act as the Product Owner for the loan participation platform 
  • Breakdown initiatives into manageable bodies of work for the team, set delivery dates to drive results, prioritize capabilities & features, and define product requirements to ensure that the product delivers value to customers. 
  • Manage the product backlog & prioritize work in alignment with strategy 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, data, and your stakeholders to ensure product delivery is on time and to specifications 
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and product team 
  • Lead and participate in daily agile ceremonies & product sprints 
  • Leverage process expertise to maximize team & platform-capability delivery

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, computer science)   
  • Experience working in loan participation, syndication, & whole loan sales 
  • Experience working in finance & retail and/or consumer lending industries 
  • Experience working in financial services, consulting, or system integration 
  • Experience working both independently & in team environments 
  • 3+ years of business analyst experience - product management experience preferred 
  • Desire to pursue product management 
  • Proven ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions 
  • Strong technical skills the Experience with one or more data and business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics, Qlik, etc.) 
  • Experience working closely with engineers & quality assurance 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams 
  • Ability to adapt tactics & approach to align with strategies & outcomes – startup experience is a plus
