Flexi Software, a 30+ year old enterprise software company, is looking for an Azure Cloud System Engineer to manage our Flexicloud infrastructure. Flexi develops commercial enterprise accounting applications for cloud and on-premise deployments. We are looking for a self-driven individual who will be able to support and improve our IT/DevOps processes and cloud infrastructure based on the needs of a high-tech company like Flexi. 

Remote candidates will be considered but on-site in Shelton, Connecticut is preferred.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will work as a part of the Flexicloud team to maintain, improve and extend the existing Microsoft Azure tenancy used to provide SaaS services to the Flexicloud end customers. Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure products, Microsoft enterprise products and troubleshooting skills are a must. We are looking for an individual who can manage the following systems.

• Management of Flexicloud Azure Tenancy that has its own multi-tenancy structure
• Management of the AD and Azure AD containers and GPOs
• Deployment and management of Microsoft SQL and SQL Azure instances
• Deployment and management SharePoint servers
• Management of Remote desktop and Published Apps environment
• Automation of repetitive IT tasks through PowerShell and other tools

• Azure certification
• Proficiency with PowerShell
• Experience with managing of enterprise software deployments preferably related to the accounting and finance areas
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, be a “task master”
• Demonstrate strong technical skills in the area of enterprise application integrations, Microsoft Azure technologies and SQL Server
• Ability to understand customer business problems and clearly formulate and articulate high level solution plans
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
