Through your CK Internship, you will…

  • Gain a basic understanding of tax preparation skills, including the use of CCH ProSystems fx tax Suite software
  • Work on real year-end client work (trial balances, journal entries, work papers, etc.)
  • Compile financial statements, assist with reviews and audits
  • Collaborate with all levels of the firm, from associate to partner
  • Full-time, paid internship at 40 hours a week, with overtime as needed
Requirements

Intern Qualifications:

  • Sophomore or junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business economics, or a related major
  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, who can interact with all levels of the firm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Some working knowledge of financial software applications (QuickBooks, Quicken, etc) is a plus, but not required
  • Takes initiative and is accountable to meet firm standards for attendance, punctuality, and meeting work deadlines
  • Internship Length: Early January 2024 (exact date TBD) to Tax Day 2024
