Description
Job Summary
Stocks, replenishes and rotates merchandise on retail sales floor in accordance with standard operating procedures for the Grocery Department. Provides excellent customer service. Maintains a safe and clean environment throughout the store.
Responsibilities
- Stocks shelves and displays, and keeps them clean, full and properly rotated at all times; creates displays as necessary.
- Keeps aisles clean and clear from slip and trip hazards.
- Takes inventory of shelf quantities and pulls from back stock to replenish products on shelves as necessary.
- Assists customers in locating products and answers their questions about products.
- Bags groceries at Customer Service Department during busy times as requested by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education And Experience (E = Essential D = Desired)
- (E) High school degree or equivalent or current enrollment in school.
- (D) 2 years retail experience.
