We help clients maximize the effectiveness and the value of their investments in risk management technology, methodology, and processes. You will be part of a team responsible for building and maintaining exciting new solutions as a member of the FRG development team. You will be working with a wide range of technologies and interacting with a diverse set of clients who represent multiple industries. 

In This Role You Will:

• Demonstrate expertise with Python and related Python frameworks
• Demonstrate understanding and application of best practices in design and development
• Demonstrate knowledge and practical application of varied programming languages and technologies 
• Ability to show expertise with SQL and experience using multiple enterprise RDBMS systems
• Experience writing shell scripts to perform various tasks using common shells 
• Ensure project requirements are delivered on time
• Write and maintain system design documents
• Mentor junior staff on technologies and best practices as required 
• Ensure accurate task estimate and effort
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Essential:

• MS degree in the areas of Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences, or Finance AND 5-8 years relevant experience; OR a BS Degree PLUS a minimum 8 years relevant experience

• Experience working in the financial industry or related field

• Demonstrated experience with several OO languages

• Demonstrated experience with the Unix/Linux Operating Systems

• Demonstrated experience and correct application of the software development life cycle (SDLC)

• Demonstrated written communication, oral communication, and presentation skills

• Ability to lead/direct a team, work alone and as part of a team
