Description

WICZ-TV, the Fox affiliate in Binghamton, New York, is seeking a weekday nightside multimedia journalist to join our news team.

POSITION PROFILE:

· Who does the position report to? Suh Neubauer, News Director

· What are the key responsibilities of the role? Report, shoot and edit daily news stories

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

· Research and enterprise local news stories.

· Write, shoot and edit reporter packages and vo/sots.

· Go live for the 6 and 10 pm news.

Requirements

Prior experience as a reporter, anchor and producer at a college television station strongly preferred, or previous experience as an associate producer/writer in a commercial TV station.
Experience using Ross Inception strongly preferred.
Experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
Knowledge of Premiere Pro and LiveU preferred.
