Physician Talent Sourcer

 The Physician Talent Sourcer will be responsible for candidate engagement through virtual networking, market mapping, market intelligence, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be an expert in passive recruiting techniques, have innovative sourcing strategy development, internet research and web-sourcing acumen; leveraging existing sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and niche job boards; internal and external networking; increasing candidate pipeline for anticipated and active openings and direct sourcing for confidential roles.

This role must be able to move at a very fast pace and have a high ability to organize and prioritize based on a rapidly changing and growing healthcare environment. This position requires occasional travel to resident dinners, radiology conferences or other brand awareness events.


  • Prioritize sourcing efforts based on the direction of the Physician Recruitment Manager.
  • Directly source talent by utilizing a variety of techniques, tools, and sourcing channels.
  • Source passive and active candidates from job boards, our internal applicant tracking system, the internet, social media, target      companies, cold calling, networking groups, or any other combination of marketing mediums as established by integrated recruitment and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop creative approaches to identify, attract, and engage high quality candidates, while pursuing cost-containment options.
  • Partner with the Physician Recruitment team about sourcing techniques and effective strategies, devising effective      strategies to uncover top talent in our various markets.
  • Review candidates who have applied to requisitions and identify those with the qualifications to be phone screened.
  • Conduct phone/video screens of candidates and professionally present candidates to Physician Recruiters which includes      summary, CV and intake form.
  • Enter all new candidate demographics, CV history and education information into applicant tracking system and update workflow.
  • Provide the Physician Recruitment Manager with sourcing activity reports that include metrics, sourcing plans, priorities and      initiatives
  • Participate in meetings with the Physician Recruitment team to discuss new requisitions, priority postings and confidential      searches.
  • Work closely with Marketing Team.
  • Support Physician Recruiters in meeting and exceeding defined goals.
  • Organize recruiting events to increase brand awareness and networking opportunities – including resident dinner, radiology      conference participation, RSNA coordination, and job fairs.


  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 years sourcing experience with a healthcare agency, search firm or in-house recruiting team.
  • Clinical recruiting is preferred but not required
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting and online sourcing niche sites including job boards, job posting and social-media      systems.
  • Experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates within a robust ATS and/or CRM.
  • Demonstrates ability to work in conjunction with marketing and talent acquisition teams in a comprehensive team approach.
  • Organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to take on multiple tasks and function under stressful      situations and deadlines.
  • Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and possess careful analytical skills.
  • Candidate must have ability to work in rapidly changing healthcare environment.
  • Candidate must possess versatile computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, ATS and/or CRM.
