JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Manager leads marketing strategy, messaging and positioning, marketing planning, execution, and analytics for Epiq Solutions and Xiphos. In this position, you’ll play a critical role leading and orchestrating the messaging, marketing, and PR for our Epiq Solutions’ total business.
This role requires collaboration and coordination across internal teams, working with leading customers in government and industry, and is integral to Epiq Solutions’ and Xiphos’ business success. You’ll work with company leadership, product management, engineering and the sales team to drive GTM strategy and results-oriented marketing campaigns.
The successful candidate must have exceptional communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Be an expert on the key capabilities, differentiators, benefits and use cases in software defined radio and RF sensing in Epiq Solutions’ and Xiphos’ markets.
- Develop compelling messaging, product literature, whitepapers, solution briefs, competitive positioning, customer presentations and event presentations.
- Work closely with sales teams and leadership to develop demand generation and awareness campaigns.
- Set marketing goals and budgets aligned with measurable objectives.
- Use analytics to measure and improve marketing campaigns.
- Develop content and collateral in-house as well as flex to agencies as needed.
- Be able to select and successfully manage agencies.
- Understand sales/channel requirements and communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of the products.
- Work closely with sales, product management, and company leadership to develop and influence product and GTM strategies.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Track record of developing compelling messaging, product collateral, and successful marketing campaigns.
- Ability to work in an Engineering environment with highly technical products and extract, understand, and communicate the value proposition.
- Experience with website development, SEO, email marketing, social media, video, trade shows, and print and digital advertising in a B2B setting.
- Public relations experience is a plus.
- Knowledge about cellular (4G / 5G) technology and IT security as it applies to governments and enterprises as well as space technology is a plus.
- Knowledge about the space industry is a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, editing, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter that can operate successfully without close supervision, including working in remote locations with long deadlines.
- Extremely strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills as well as strong capability with Adobe creative cloud tools or similar.
- Ability to effectively plan and manage product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or other business related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years minimum of professional experience in B2B marketing with 2 years of leadership responsibility for marketing or a key aspect of marketing.
