Summary
The incumbent under general supervision, but in accordance with established policies and procedures, is responsible for the Sales leadership, Operations management and supervision of all branch functions. The Manager is responsible for managing, advising and assisting all branch staff with regards to their respective functions. Effectively operating the retail branch location is the responsibility of the Branch Manager.
All Branch Managers have a “home branch” but may be asked to cover for any of our other branches at any time. Being able to work at each of our locations is mandatory.
Essential Functions
Daily:
• Responsible for entire Branch staff Service Quality and efficiency:
• Demonstrating exemplary customer service on a consistent basis when dealing with the public
• Maintaining a professional attitude at all times
• Maintains and enhances product knowledge on an ongoing basis to assist the public with all financial needs
• Makes recommendations to improve workflow, as needed.
• Responsible for Business Development and Sales Management function:
• Strives to attain Sales through active cross-selling of additional products and services
• Probes for leads and further business when dealing with all customers
• Actively pursue business development efforts to reach local business and community-based not for profits, to promote Bogota’s community mindedness and enhance deposit growth
• Rectify all customer issues in an efficient, professional manner
• Direct and coordinate branch specific effort of expanding and developing customer relationships through active cross-selling by all employees
• Continually promote Bogota’s product line through daily business interaction
• Conduct and supervise internal sales and service training on a regular basis to ensure appropriate branch staff development. Continually develop staff to focus on customer service that results in product referrals
• Hold monthly branch staff meetings, documenting same, to keep staff updated in all areas concerning the bank / branch.
• Follow and oversee that all branch security and control procedures, including dual control and the opening and closing of the branch are being applied appropriately and effectively
• Mentor subordinates to ensure that they are constantly developing the skills necessary to assume higher rank when necessary
• Prepare, review and monitor daily reports, operating daily within budget and ascertaining appropriate approvals are received on transactions requiring an override.
• Comply and execute the Bank's BSA program, including Customer Identification program (CIP), ChexSystems and OFAC processing, observation of customer activity and completion of currency transactions reports as needed.
• Review and document such review, with entire branch staff, the BSA and Operations procedures
• Responsible for Personnel Administration:
• Complete detailed annual staff reviews, documenting both strengths and weaknesses of all branch employees. Annual evaluations are to be submitted in advance of actual due date.
• Disciplinary actions (verbal, written, termination) to be documented in writing and discussed with employee upon occurrence
• Attend all required training sessions and management meetings for the purpose of exchanging new ideas, problem solving and learning about policies, procedures and new product development
• Responsible for branch community involvement and local public relations activities (CRA), as required
Other Job Functions
• Perform any operations-related duties, as needed
• Attend community-based luncheons and dinners, as required representing Bogota in a positive and professional manner
• Volunteer and command leadership positions within community-based organizations, as needed
• Comply with all bank-related policies and procedures
• Any additional Managerial assignments, as required

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
