The Email Marketing Manager is equal parts technical, creative, and analytical – utilizes email and SMS communication tools to market the company and increase brand awareness. The EMM will create a significant volume of emails and SMS messages on behalf of the company and will play an integral role in supporting internal and external communication, partner programs and customer engagement that will have a sizable impact on revenue growth.

Project Management 50%
• Identify target audiences and grow our email and SMS lists.
• Create, manage, design, and implement direct email marketing campaigns.
• Create infrastructure for SMS campaigns.
• Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
• Create SMS templates for use across organization and employees in customer-facing roles.
• Ensure mobile-friendly email templates.
• Create newsletters, including all company updates for internal and external purposes.
• Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization, and advanced features.
• Ensure prompt and accurate communication with clients via email to minimize unsubscribes.
• Create email databases for lead generation.

Measuring Success 30%
• Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements to optimize future initiatives better.
• Report on sales revenue generated from email and SMS marketing efforts.
• Work with Salesforce Engineer to ensure campaigns and data properly sync across platforms.

Product Expertise 10%
• Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.

Brand Standards 10%
• Ensure all marketing programs present a consistent brand image.


 Education and Training Guidelines
• BS degree in Marketing or related field.
• Must have 3-4 years Pardot experience.
• Prefer three (3) to five (5) year’s work experience in email marketing or related role. 

 Skills and Abilities
• Proven experience as an Email Marketing Manager.
• Hands-on experience with HTML and content management systems.
• Proficiency in marketing automation technology.
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Timely decision-making ability.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
