The Savior Pastoral Center is currently seeking a Groundskeeper. This position is responsible for the upkeep of the outdoor grounds and landscaping. Some responsibilities would include mowing, weeding and trimming the grass and trees. This position may also help perform other custodial tasks inside the center as needed. This is a seasonal full time position. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Operate and efficiently use the lawn tractor to cut all grass areas on the 30 acre facility. 
•  Maintains landscaped areas including trimming and performs weed control on all landscaped areas. 
•  Performs preventive maintenance including cleaning and maintaining trimmers, mowers and riding mower.
•  Perform tasks to ensure the attractive and safe physical appearance of the facility such as snow removal, clearing ice from all entrances and sidewalks as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable with lawn tractor maintenance and safety.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, knowledge of safety regulations and work practices. 
• Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and outside for most of the day.
• Ability to work with a team and take direction from supervisor.
• Three years experience in a professional groundskeeper position is preferred.
