Job Summary:

As a Junior UI/UX Designer, you will work under our Head of Design and alongside our Engineers to create compelling designs and user experiences for our digital products. You will be responsible for assisting in the design process from concept to final product, while ensuring that all designs adhere to the project scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. In addition to UI/UX projects you will also work with other departments on a variety of projects such as product guides, emails and graphic design assets.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders and team members
  • Work collaboratively with other designers and developers to develop and refine design concepts based on feedback from stakeholders and clients
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences, and integrate these insights into design decisions
  • Develop and maintain design guidelines, specifications, and standards for client projects
  • Create visual design assets such as icons, illustrations, and infographics that enhance the user experience
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure that design assets are implemented accurately and effectively in the final product
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, user experience design, or related field
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers, developers, and project managers
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong portfolio of design work that showcases your design process, problem-solving skills, and creativity - Please include a link to your portfolio site on your resume

Salary Description
$50,000 - $65,000
