Casino M8trix is looking for a Facilities Operations Engineer to join our team!
Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, responsible for providing preventative maintenance support and troubleshooting the facility’s critical infrastructure equipment such as power distribution, fire systems, generators, plumbing, kitchen refrigeration systems, and HVAC systems to ensure operational integrity, improving efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with building systems and operations.
- Above average ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills ensure specifications and expectations are being met.
- Maintain a positive attitude with internal customers and external parties.
- Strong working knowledge of Internet and computing skills.
- Provide guidance to team members.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must be willing to undergo background check.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 100 pounds.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches.

- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility.
- Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in maintenance and repair.
- Have recognized leadership skills, and effective communication skills, lead teams, vendors, and contractors in projects/assignments/tasks major in scope and complexity.
Duties include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Assists in reducing the dependency on vendor support for issues that can be solved internally.
- Participates as a subject matter expert on task forces or cross-functional projects; advises departments on solutions for technical problems or barriers.
- Assists with the creation of policy and maintenance schedules.
- May be required to work in emergencies during off hours and on weekend shifts.
- Performs inspections and adjustments of equipment.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, operation and maintenance manuals and other documents to determine proper operation.
- Troubleshoots and problem-solve under normal and abnormal situations.
- Tests newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
Work Hours and Availability:
This position works 100% on-site, Monday – Friday (Day Shift). Some flexibility is required depending on assigned tasks.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting salary is $40/hour - $50/hour, depending on experience. Employee benefits are available for all qualifying full-time employees, including paid time off, medical, vision, dental, and life insurance.
