We are looking for an individual that exhibits a high degree of sensitivity and caring for families experiencing loss. This person will assist the Funeral Director during all types of funeral ceremonies. Typical duties include driving a hearse or service van, being an usher, and handling ceremony details.
A successful candidate will have a pleasant, professional personality and have a flexible schedule. This position requires working at area places of worship from all faith traditions. This is an excellent position if you are retired wanting a part-time job; or if you are just getting into the workforce contemplating a career in the funeral profession. Having experience as a Funeral Director Assistant is a great prerequisite to getting a Bliley's apprenticeship position.
