Compensation: $740/week (49 weeks), competitive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, voluntary supplemental benefits, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and paid holidays.

Summary:
Under general supervision, the Production Assistant helps to mount the play throughout the rehearsal process and the run of the show.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Maintain the vision of the director and designers.
· Ensure the safety of the actors and crews.
· Keep accurate notes during rehearsal process concerning scenery changes, props, etc.
· Assign crew moves for production.
· Serve as part of the backstage crew.
· Take notes during production meetings.
· Prepare stage and backstage areas: prop tables, costume areas, water stations, etc.
· Compile paperwork of run crew sheets and prop placement.
· Furnish coffee supplies daily.
· Assist stage manager with pre-production.

Experience / Education:
Two or more years of professional theater experience and/or internship; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Communication skills, good familiarity with the backstage life of a working theater.
