Description
- Responding to complaints when customers experience problems
- Processing orders and returns
- Documenting customer interactions
- Handle customer complaints by providing solutions, often within a time limit to ensure the customer is satisfied.
- Learn the software systems used by the company to be able to communicate effectively with incoming inquiries.
- Be able to process orders, forms, applications, or requests.
- Work with colleagues when necessary to resolve customer complaints.
Requirements
- Communication skills including written and verbal communication
- Customer service skills including patience and positivity
- Excellent computer skills to record, process, and use information to provide assistance to customers
- Problem-solving skills to ensure complaints are assessed in a manner that is satisfactory for the customer and the company
- Communication skills like a pleasant demeanor and ability to work with multiple personalities
- 2+ years’ experience in a customer service role
- High school diploma/GED required (College degree preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Detail oriented with the flexibility to adapt to a variety of work situations and interruptions and organize work for appropriate and timely completion
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with staff and customers at all levels
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Strong prioritization and organization skills
