Description

Ascendum Machinery, a leading Volvo Construction Equipment dealer, is offering an excellent opportunity for a Service Advisor. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced person to fill this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete clerical processes for maintaining Service Department Work in process; email, phone or fax work orders and estimates for purchase orders, complete/close warranty work orders, complete/close internal and customer orders.
  • Assist in maintaining records of shipping & receiving reports for equipment & attachments.
  • Maintain records of equipment inspections, including documentation and pictures.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of branch files including customer equipment sales, work orders, etc.
  • Maintain internal and customer equipment PM service logs and monitor CareTrack for scheduling PM services as required.
  • Assist with machine and attachment inventory account, with monthly monitoring and required periodic inspections.
  • Assist in coordination for IT maintenance of PC’s, phones, printers, copy machines and postal equipment.
  • Other duties as may be assigned to meet company goals and objectives.
Requirements

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/PROFICIENCIES:

  • Experience and/or Education: High School Diploma and/or associates degree in a relevant field
  • Computer Skills: The employee can use the equipment and software required to accomplish the responsibilities of this position. Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Possess ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a positive and enthusiastic manner. Maintain an approachable and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and teamwork abilities,
  • Customer orientation toward service and building relationships.
  • Compatible to working branch hours and extended days as needed.

Salary Description
$20-$25 per hour
