Special Contracts Dispatcher
Description

Job Summary: The Special Transportation Coordinator will perform daily operations associated with FTSB and TARC customer transportation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain TARC seniority list and FTSB driver list
  • Audit and maintain driver files to ensure all proper documentation is available and current
  • Notify drivers when needed to go for drug testing
  • Maintain random drug screening documentation and spreadsheets
  • Serve as first line of support for FTSB/TARC to resolve complaints; escalate complaints to Manager if not successful
  • Fill in as a Special Transportation Dispatcher when needed
  • Disseminate FTSB manifest daily to drivers
  • Keep current on driver availability to ensure that enough drivers are available to cover routes
  • Monitor FTSB/TARC run volumes and adjust routes accordingly
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Scheduling or related experience preferred
  • Must have excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word and Excel
