What you’ll do: 

• Build continuous integration and continuous deployment automation tools; establish DevOps best practices that will support growth of LendKey’s software-as-a-service capabilities 
• Participate as a technical expert, with the engineering team, in the deployment and management of software releases and updates 
• Perform installation and maintenance of enterprise Linux and Windows Servers and network systems 
• Develop and maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. 
• Develop and document technical policies and procedures as needed 
• System performance and network tuning 
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability (99.9% SLA)

 Technical/Business Experience: 

• 3+ years’ experience in Platform Engineering, SRE or DevOps focused role 
• Ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience while winning their confidence 
• Ability to work seamlessly with software developers, project managers, and business development 
• Ability to produce and maintain written documentation 
• Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and networking concepts. 
• Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, EBS, EKS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, Lambda
• Experience with Docker containers and containerization concepts 
• Experience with managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters in a production environment 
• Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS with Terraform
• Strong SQL knowledge 
• Strong knowledge of Protocol-level such as HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, DNS and LDAP 
• Experience monitoring production systems 
• Experience with Business Continuity / DR and data backups 
• Full software development lifecycle experience
• Expertise in leveraging Automation / DevOps principles, experience with operational tools, and able to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment (Ansible / Puppet / Chef / Saltstack) 
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, NodeJS or Go
• HAProxy, Nginx, SSH, MySQL configuration and operation experience
