Adjunct Professor of Engineering - Project Management

Description

Greenville University is seeking a part-time professor with expertise in Engineering Project Management.  The successful candidate will be able to teach a two-credit hour course in Engineering Project Management, which is a required course in the Greenville University Engineering program. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in a robust learning community.   The selected candidate must provide evidence of a vibrant Christian faith, clearly understand and internalize the mission of Greenville University, and articulate the value of Christian higher education. 


Depending on expertise, the selected candidate may also contribute to teaching other specialized elective courses in the Engineering program or the Physics program. The course is generally taught one evening per week, but it can be schedule to accommodate the instructor’s schedule.  

Requirements

  

· A master’s degree in an engineering discipline or an undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline and an MBA. 

· At least five years’ experience in engineering project management.

· A commitment to teaching excellence in an undergraduate, liberal arts institution.

· A demonstrated, vibrant Christian faith compatible with the mission of Greenville University.

· Ability to engage in critical thinking and exercise independent judgment. Ability to maintain con?dentiality and manage con?dential information.
