POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Facilities Assistant

Location includes greenhouse and warehouse structures and office space

Reports to General Manager

• Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.
• Complete building repair and improvement.
• Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
• Conduct preventative maintenance work.
• Comply with safety regulations and practices on site.
• Other duties as required.

Facilities Assistant Requirements and Qualifications:

• Ability to safely use common power and hand tools.
• Experience in equipment installation/repair.
• Carpentry experience.
• Basic plumbing knowledge.
• Previous projects involving minor electrical wiring.
• Strong communication skills
• Self-starter with good time management skills
• Able to work independently and/or as part of a group.
