The Marketing Associate is responsible for successfully building, composing, editing, and publishing communications developed by Harvest and the Marketing Department. Key areas of responsibility are composing marketing copy, reviewing and editing copy, and implementing best practices for content creation and SEO on harvest.org and its marketing channels, including email, social media, and broadcast media. In addition, the Marketing Services Associate maintains Harvest’s branding with partners, oversees the organic search traffic growth, and coordinates with Harvest outreach media activities. He/She serves with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes Harvest’s culture, values, and mission.

• Prepares, rewrites, and edits copy to improve the readability of work. 
• Maintains day-to-day scheduling of marketing campaigns. 
• Develop and execute content ideas for digital and print media publishing in alignment with Harvest Outreach Ministries’ calendar and goals. 
• Completes and corrects transcriptions of all Harvest Outreach Media audio content using Descript.
• Use tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, Meta Business Suite, and HubSpot best practices to optimize, republish, and organize historical content on harvest.org and improve SEO.
• Ensures content on harvest.org is published/republished and distributed promptly on appropriate channels (email, social, etc.) according to the content calendar.
• Reviews and approves proofs submitted by other departments before publication/production. 
• Implements best practices for publishing and scheduling content in WordPress and podcast feed, using tagging and providing metadata. 
• Prepares microcopy as needed, including CTAs and promotional notes within emails, push notifications, podcast notes, and accompanying social media posts.
• Works with outreach media partners as needed to align promotional content direction. 
• Creates scripting as needed for radio and TV voiceovers.

Salary Range:  $20.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
