Description

The Pradera Resource Home Administrator role reports to the CFO of Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, LLC (APM). Responsible for the overall strategic and operational execution of goals for Pradera Resource Home, Adoptions/SWAN and PBC staff, programs and expansion while keeping the mission in focus. Which is to promote healthy lifestyles, protect and nurture vulnerable children and youth and empower them to have a voice in their communities.


Essential Functions Include

Leadership & Management:

· Ensure ongoing local programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation

· Work with APM to ensure consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and systems

· Recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals

· Ensure implementation and compliance of contractual requirements with Pradera Homes

· Actively engage and energize Pradera Homes volunteers, partnering organizations, and funders

· Lead, coach, develop, and retain Pradera Resource Homes high-performance senior management team

· Ensure effective systems to track scaling progress, and regularly evaluate program components, so as to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to APM CEO, the board, funders, and other constituents

· Submits Monthly narrative and statistical reports to APM CEO & Board of Directors

Fundraising & Communications:

· Work with APM to deepen and refine all aspects of communications—from web presence to external relations with the goal of creating a stronger brand while co-branding with APM

· Use external presence and relationships to garner new opportunities

· Ensure government contract renewals for foster care and adoptions

Planning & New Business:

· Begin to build partnerships in new markets, establishing relationships with the funders, political and community leaders at each expansion site

· Be an external presence that publishes and communicates program results with an emphasis on the successes of programs as a model for the city and other regions

· Make Pradera Resource Homes a quality leader in Philadelphia and all expansion sites

External Relations:

· Represent APM at stakeholder meetings, including industry events, local boards, advocacy organizations, and other important partnerships

· Represent the department and APM to elected officials and outside agencies

· Negotiate and resolve significant and controversial issues with various partners and stakeholders

Requirements

Qualifications


The Administrator will be thoroughly committed to Pradera Resource Homes mission. Proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience.

Specific requirements include:

· Advanced degree, ideally in business or MSW, with at least 10 years of senior management experience; track record of effectively leading regionally and scaling performance and outcomes-based organization and staff;

· Ability to point to specific examples of having developed and operationalized strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth

· Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation

· Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget

· Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures

· Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills

· Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning

· Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people

· Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
