magazine and is a leading provider of low-cost 401(k) plans to small and mid-sized businesses.


Employee Fiduciary is currently seeking a Participant Support Specialist for our Operations department.  Our Operations department is responsible for processing annual contributions, fund transfers, payroll/source/trading corrections, answering participants/plan sponsors questions, etc.  This position is based out of our Mobile, AL headquarters and reports to the Operations Manager.

Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation). 


  • Answers incoming calls and manages incoming emails.
  • Answers participant inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
  • Routes non-participant inquiries to the appropriate party.
  • Follows policies and procedures set forth by the company
Requirements

Skills, knowledge and abilities: (these are required to enable job holder to perform the essential functions of the job).


  • Ability to manage multi-line phone system.
  • Ability to use general office equipment including computer keyboard by touch, voice mail system, copy machine, and printers
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  •  Ability to learn and maintain a working knowledge of Pension Pal software
  • Effective communications skills with ability to handle difficult people or situations
  • Ability to learn and understand company processes, procedures and standards
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to interact cordially and productively with all company employees


Experience and Education Requirements: 

General business, accounting or finance degree preferred. Two years related work experience and accounting classes may be 

substituted for degree. Prior experience with Relius or similar software is a plus.
