CAD Technician will be part of our Water / Wastewater Dept. 

Create accurate and detailed plan sheets including but not limited to: Title, Index, Typical Cross Sections, Maintenance of Traffic Details, Plan & Profiles, Details and Cross-Section sheets. 

Prepare various components of road construction plans, via “mark-ups/redlines”

Prepare “display” materials for public meetings 

Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding clients and company practices. 

Perform other duties as assigned. 

Skills: 

Proficient with a computer and AutoCAD 2004 or higher software 

Possess good communication skills

Able to interpret and complete “mark-ups/redlines” to Plan sheets 

Able to work within a “team” concept. 

Able to meet deadlines. 

Physical Requirements: 

Able to work seated 9 or more hours per workday. 

Able to work 40 or more hours per work week as needed. 

Able to work outdoors traversing uneven or difficult terrain.

Education:

Associate's Degree in CAD or completion of 2-year CAD program
