 Westside Family Healthcare is a nonprofit organization that provides high quality primary medical care without regard to ability to pay.    The Medicaid Eligibility Coordinator will report to the Manager or Enrollment Services and coordinate outreach and enrollment efforts to Westside Family Healthcare patients and community members who may be or have been disenrolled from Medicaid to reduce the number of people who will have a gap in health care coverage. This position will coordinate two staff level positions. The coordinator will be responsible for training, developing a training manual, delegating tasks, data collection and reporting, attending all relevant state and federal Medicaid unwinding meetings, completing trainings and certifications as required, being the interface between the state Medicaid office and Westside and other duties as required. This is a temporary, non-exempt position with no direct reports.

Requirements

 

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. Six months or more of experience using Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  3. Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish or English and another language spoken by a majority of our patient population
  4. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to travel independently between work locations, including external outreach events
