Description

The Logistics Analysts (Ashore) should have experience in and knowledge in stock control operation; Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) program; Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) policies and concepts; financial management in the Navy; ashore aviation support programs and policies, I-Level maintenance operations, development of aviation supply policies and procedures, and NWCF policies and concepts; automated aviation supply/maintenance management; commonly used supply system query programs, shipment channels, development of aviation supply policies and procedures, AVCAL/COSAL outfitting support; and standard supply processes. The proposed individual should have broad knowledge of the following Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).


The Logistics Analysts provides services in connection with Navy logistics operation, financial management and inventory management. Proficiency in automated supply/maintenance management; commonly used supply system query programs, shipment channels, financial management procedure, and standard supply processes.


The Logistics Analysts provides services in connection with aviation supply/logistic management for ashore activities; provide analysis and measurement of supply effectiveness of Aviation Supply Division (ASD); collect, review, monitor and analyze data received from ashore aviation units; conduct training, assessment, and inspection. Proficiency in stock control functions, ERP, ASD operation, NALCOMIS, AIS, RSUPPLY, NAVSUP OneTouch, FIMARS, and NAVAIR processes. 


The Logistics Analysts provides services in connection with Aircraft Engines and Inventory Readiness Reporting system, familiarity with NAVAIR policy, monitor aircraft engine status, and provide technical and administrative support to DeckETR. Proficiency in Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information system (NALCOMIS), AIRSS, RT-79, XRAY, DeckETR, NAVAIR policy and procedure, EPSM and FIAR.


The Logistics Analysts provides services in connection with CASREP monitoring including Broad Arrow and AWP, conduct stock queries for high priority items, track CASCORs, and shipboard engines monitoring. Proficiency in NAVSUP One Touch Support, ERP, FIMARS, Broad Arrow, AWP, R-SUPPLY, and familiarity with Naval messaging. 


The Logistics Analysts provides services in connection with Technical Publications and Directives Library support services. Proficiency in maintenance administration management and technical publication library management. 

Requirements

Should have at least an Associate degree in Logistics, Business Administration or a related business discipline or at least 15 years of experience and knowledge in US military logistics operation afloat and ashore, specifically the individuals should have a Logistics Specialist rating while in the military. To the extent a proposed individual for the Logistics Analyst position does not have an Associate’s degree in logistics or a business discipline, describe how the individual’s experience and knowledge makes up for the lack of a degree and contributes to both the successful performance of the PWS and the mission.
