POSITION TITLE: Feed Manufacturing

LOCATION(S): CRC Region/Territory

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Feed Department Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The primary function of this position is to assist in the manufacturing of bulk feed and delivery of bagged feed and animal nutrition products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help with bulk feed load out
• Assist in the inventory of lot tracked animal health products
• Maintain the feed warehouse ensuring proper storage of products
• Accept incoming bagged feed loads and properly inventory product
• Put together bagged feed orders for customer pick up or delivery
• Report any feed inconsistencies or concerns
• Measure and weigh bulk feed ingredients ensuring accuracy
• Safely hand add feed to rations 
• Perform mill maintenance as instructed
• Maintain a clean work environment

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be an insurable driver
• Willingness to help in other divisions for additional hours
• Ability to operate forklift and handcart safely 
• Computer and data entry skills preferred but not required
• Must be able to follow directions and effectively communicate with others
• Agriculture background preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift, push or pull 1-20 pounds frequently and up to 55 lbs. occasionally; climb ladders and/or rail cars, stairs, and bins
• Frequent periods of standing, walking, sitting, lifting and carrying items
• May also be required to work in confined spaces
• Must be able to work in grain dust and during inclement weather
• Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position
